Day 3-a

I'm a big fan of the office the team works at in Kiev. It is a lot 'cooler' than the office at home. The biggest difference is the lack of cubicles - other than the fact that everyone is speaking Russian. The only english I understood so far was 'Che Guevara' - which was directed at me. (I find it pretty insulting - I am clearly sporting a Castro look, not Che... I'm not a poser.) Anyway, there are no cubicles - just desks. It has the vibe of a modern library, not an office.

The best part has to be the ping-pong table. From where I sit it is about 25 feet in front of me (I can see two people playing at the moment.) It is just on the other side of the mini-office I'm working in. Each floor of the building is divided into mini-offices (at least the floor I am on is). Inside of my mini-office there are 14 people working. I think the floor has around 10 of these offices - some work for a different company than mine.

The view from the office is great -
each floor has a balcony.
I was told the view is a bit obstructed by the forest fires in Russia (you can see the haze in the pictures), but it is still very nice.
